ok so i just get my first period and i tried to use a tampon.. but it realllly hurts when i try to put it within. the instructions all articulate if it hurts i'm not doing it right but i dont know why..
is it normal for it to hurt at first? It is severely normal for it to hurt at first. Things that oblige are to angle it at different degrees. Instead of trying to insert it too vertically, I strongly suggest slightly angling it towards the hindmost of your pelvis, because that is the angle of your vagina.
I did that, and it help so much! Don't be scared if it hurts; you're not doing anything wrong. Just try different angles until you find the one that's of late right. Dont be afraid to keep trying and trying!
