Good/bad things roughly Mirena?

I'm getting it put in on the 29th and be just wondering what population thought of it..? How was the insertion? I have it for about a year, till it give me a massive pelvic infection. I liked it at first. I have a light length every six weeks, and I didn't have to reckon about birth control. Then I started have them every 2 1/2 weeks--a side effect of the infection.
If it works for you, the Mirena is great. Some women can't tolerate its side effects, though. It can cause bulk gain, lower libido, and mood changes.
I have it even though I've never had kids. It took longer for the gyno to find it in because of that, but it be really painful for solitary a few seconds. It's supposed to comfort if you get it while you hold your period, and if you run Advil or Aleve beforehand.
If you get one, product sure you get the strings trimmed. Otherwise, they can poke you.

I have mine inserted 1/8/08 and it wasn't too bad at adjectives. I've had two kids and that may be why my discomfort wasn't too discouraging.
