Gross ask...dont look at if u acquire grossed out confidently...?

hi everyone. im 15 years old and im asking this ask here because i dont kow who else to go to and its sorta freaking me out. i own a male doctor and i dont own a good relationship w/ my mom...so.i be going to the bathroom this morning, and im about to bring my period any afternoon now. i be just poking around "up there" and i feel this huge lump type thing. to describe it, if u put your mitt in a fist, within was a big crack surrounded by the lump like the crack between 2 closed fingers...if that make any sense. and you can go "up" within 2 different dirrections...its very wierd. ive have some little cramps but i think its usual because when im about to capture my period, i attain these unbearable cramps, so its zilch compared to regular. can u help me? do you know what this "lump" is?
*please dont relay me that i need to chitchat to my mom about this and that this is completely gross, because i already know that, i a moment ago need honest answers, not "ew, gross, be in motion somewhere else" type of answers.
thanks! That's your cervix, the orifice to your uterus. It's supposed to be there. It open slightly when you are about to start your term and of course when you enjoy a baby. It can also uncap very slightly when you're ovulating. Normally it lately feels similar to a bump with a dent within it.
